The Big Tree
This is the big fir tree that is on the property line between our place and the back wooded lot. It is about 3/4 on their land, so it's their tree. The people who own it did have it limbed for us, so that makes it a bit easier to live with, but it is a messy old fir, dropping cones, bits and pieces of small limbs in storms and those infernal little brown things that pop off when the new growth emerges on the tree. If those things were currency, we'd be rich. And I should mention that in a heat wave, some summers this tree really drops tree sap all over the place. That sticky stuff is really, really annoying.
And that's it for today. Tomorrow I go to aunties and we are both getting our hair cut and then we are going over to David's new place. He won't get his new couch delivered until Wednesday, so I am taking over something for him to sit on. His choices will be either the floor or his bed, so I think he should have another option until his comfy new couch shows up.
See ya later! Have a great weekend.
