Day One - Hesdin, France

A very quick ride through the tunnel, a nibble or two on some cheese straws & a short road trip & we'd arrived in at our lovely gite. It did not take us long to settle in & then take a stroll down to a local watering hole. This stylish little place, run by a Phil Collins look a-like, provided us the perfect spot for soaking up some glorious sunshine & a partaking in a refreshing welcome drink. Before we got too pink, we managed to stubble upon a bar showing the FA Cup Final, much to Dan's relief. The Gunners didn't let him down, although they threatened to.
