Panic

My wife rang me in a bit of a panic this afternoon while she was out shopping. She had discovered that she had lost her bank debit card. I quickly checked on line for the number to call, and phoned to cancel her card immediately. Fortunately, the bank assured me that no attempt had been made to use the card since it had gone missing.

Now my wife will have to wait until her replacement card arrives before she can get any cash. Should I be generous and give her some?
