Jim Clark Rally

Gardening this evening to the sound of rally cars racing through the village! It's the weekend of the Jim Clark Rally, apparently the only closed road rally in the UK mainland. No idea whether this evening's activity was a practice session, part of a rally or what!

Knowing absolutely nothing about rally driving, I was disappointed a couple of years ago on first seeing the cars. I'd imagined them as being something like Formula 1 racing cars, but they're just noisy, souped-up cars covered in adverts...
