Beech tree in Witton Country Park

Another relaxing day.
It started with a leisurely family walk and ended with a fast 6 km walk. In the middle there was some work and some more relaxing. Jan and JH went off shopping leaving me to worry about bureaucracy and buy a few necessary bits and pieces via Internet.
This tree was photographed on the morning walk.
I am fascinated by the rain forest qualities of British woodland. So many varieties and sizes of trees bushes and plants all squashed together and fighting for light.
