Thindian

Today has been mildly hectic!

It started last night with a text from the manager of one of the Practices I work at, asking if I could cover for sick leave this morning.
I agreed, on the condition I could leave at 12 as I had a long overdue hair appointment.

So instead of my planned lie in, I was in work at 8am (but lie ins don't pay for my holiday so I'm not grumbling).

My hair appointment took ages as always, but looks ACE; I've gone for a more coppery base with blonde on top (there will be a blip at some point featuring the barnet I'm sure).

Tonight we went to Laura & Steves for takeaway night and we sampled the delights of a new place, cleverly named 'Thindian'.
We thought this was a play on Northern twang (just like how we go to th'asda), but it actually relates to the menu (read on...)

The owner was a waiter at our favourite Indian restaurant but has now branched out on his own.
What he's offering is slightly different to the norm; he's cut out ghee and butter from the dishes and also offers a separate 'slimdian' menu for those on a diet.
What a fab idea!!

The food was excellent and very reasonably priced too; no doubt we will be going there again.

In other news, my legs are even more stiff today and my triceps have also decided to join in the pain party. Fate has uncannily intervened and both last nights and tonight's Zumba classes got cancelled due to instructor illness (get well soon Annamal!), so my limbs live to rest another day!
