On deck shoes? But firstly an update on the monster flu that has laid me low for the last four days. There was a flickering ray of light this morning as I was able to sing for the first time in 5 days whilst in the shower. Chris Tomlin would have been proud and when I took the gamble to hit a high note I saw it as a sign that I was over the worst of this virus. Anyway... back to deck shoes. These little gems were at the heart of many a discussion within the office today and on occasions I had to defend myself. Deck shoes, so I pointed out, are stylish, sophisticated, professional not to mention comfortable. It's 2014 and modern men wear deck shoes not Nike Airs. Jeans, shorts, chinos, slacks - the footwear does not look out of place. Long live... the deck shoe
