A good Friday.

It started with a bump - 6am alarm, to get the 6.50 train to Edinburgh for a networking event at 8. That went well, although I'm not convinced it was worth the effort.

I had to go over to the Big City anyway to collect my ticket for the RaboPro 12 final in Dublin tomorrow. I only booked on Wednesday, so it was too late for the ticket to be posted to me.

The flight leaves at 10, so check-in is 8-8.30 in Glasgow. 6.15 alarm tomorrow.

Just a day trip (so no expensive hotel or alcohol).

The Blip is Haymarket Station in Edinburgh. Recently transformed by Network Rail. The contractors are still finishing off a few bits, but I was impressed.

My bus stopped across the street, as will the tram service when it starts tomorrow.
