The “shaggy dog” variety of clematis

Its correct name is Clematis Diamantina. I blipped it last year in June, when it was just beginning to flower and I could isolate flowers. This year it has just gone….. whoosh!! and all the flowers have opened at once.

I went to a garden centre today to get a pot for yesterday’s rose bush and bought a couple of other things, one of which was planned, a box of white Cosmos.

Thank you for the good wishes sent on our wedding anniversary yesterday.

I got started on the garden when I got back and B came out to help me when he was free. Good move as we got so much more done with two pair of hands and no need for me to rest my aching back!! I’ve got plans for what needs doing tomorrow :0)
