"I am the passenger"

Actually this is a Common Blue Damselfly and yes, I know it ain't actually blue. This is the female of the species and as nature programme fans will be aware, in the animal world it is often the male who gets the flashy suit and the ladies get left with the drab utility gear.
Earlier this afternoon, Rona took us along the canal tow-path and I was about to take a shot of two narrow boats leaving a lock when I noticed that MaggieD had this passenger on her neck and she had no idea that it was there.
I had a passenger too - a somewhat presumptuous fly shot down the back of my shirt and has bitten my back, it's itching like hell. At least I know it won't do that again!
