Miserable-impossible

I failed miserably to take a "miserable" shot for the topic today, impossible when I had two little characters as happy as these two for most of the day.

Deklan had a pupil free day from school due to a staff development day.
He calls today "Fun Friday" because he has fun in school he gets to place a lunch order with lemonade and his Nanna collects him from school, well today it was my Fun Friday, I got to share in their painting rainbows and flowers and fingers and hands.
later we went in the park Ruby blew bubbles, she is quite good at blowing bubbles now and concentrates so hard, Deklan tried to catch and pop them, then he thought shouting at the top of his voice and jumping off the walls was much more fun!!

Ruby had a sleep after lunch and Deklan and I made fun loom bands which is all the craze with his little pals.
We looked at all the photos his grandad has sent us he said "it's been a long time that grandad has been away" don't I know! He was so excited that he gets to see grandad on Monday because it's a public holiday here, another day free from school!
And grandad will be home, all will be right with the world!


Journal entry day 18:
All the clan is now gathered at mum and dad's new cottage with the last two to arrive Matt and Katie our nephew and his partner, Glyn has both his brothers there now he is enjoying his last day and night with everyone, I know how happy his parents will be feeling to have their three sons together again, and family gathered all around them.
A dinner booked tonight for 15 family members!

Blip edit: just had a surprise face time with all my family!! They were all gathered round Glyn Chris Sue Jess Lukas Mike Terry Matt Katie Gemma Gareth Amber Arlow and the stars Mum and Dad both 87 drinking champagne in their lovely garden looking like 69 year old, cheers good health and happiness in your new home!!
