Pancake meal

Wednesday was the day for groceries, laundry and such and getting settled in back home. Thursday was for another day of fun. In the morning I visited this castle again. They have some variation in the guided tours of the castle from time to time. The emphasis this time was on the castle servants, the story told was more about them and we saw a couple of extra rooms that are usually not included in the tour. As always I enjoyed it very much.

In the afternoon I visited my best friend who has her birthday on Friday. Unfortunately I have to go back to work on Friday and she lives too far away for a quick visit before or after. So I went on Thursday and had a splendid time catching up with her and her family. As a treat we had pancakes! The photo doesn't quite show it, but there were a lot of ingredients on the table, like mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, ham, cheese, bacon, all of which to be used for baking with the pancakes, each to his/her liking. I had a great time.
