Red Moss

The weather was really good today, so we went to a small Island called Örskär for a daytrip. To get there you go by a small boat that only takes about 10 people.

After a stop for coffee at the old lighthouse - now youthhostel, we walked across the island to the other side. Lots of rare flowers - 18 of 24 known wild orchids for example. I took a lot of pics of them and of the waterlandscape near the sea, with strangely coloured stones and large puddles with seagrass, but in the end I decided to post this red moss. I have never seen it anywhere else, and think it is quite beautiful.
