The Last Leaf
Only two days to go and we are officially in winter. I used to think a lot of the scenery during winter was boring. That is until I became more involved in photography and started to really “see”… I often use the phrase “Seeing the Magnificent in the Mundane”. I suppose that is some sort of anthem for me now and I will continue to quote it.
The leaves are fast disappearing from the trees. We have a magnolia growing by our front gates. One minute, it seemed, there were leaves galore on that tree. The next minute they were gone. Except for this one lonely leaf at the very top of the tree. I feel it is worth immortalizing and celebrating that last leaf.
