Happy feet, nearly time to go.
The weather was beautiful today, I actually went out without a jacket to go and see Freya. We stuffed our faces with oreos while we caught up with each other and then went for a jog to the beach. I left her to go on my annual hunt for cardboard boxes - which involves me wandering in and out of shops like a lost soul, sussing out which member of staff is the most approachable and then scrounging for boxes that I can use for packing all of my junk up for the summer. I've left it to the last minute as usual.
There was still light in the day so I went for one last stroll in Duthie Park. I sat by the pond, dipped my feet into the water and contemplated life. This academic year has been one of the best, I forced myself out of my comfort zone and perused things that I'd always wanted to do but didn't. As a result I've met some really great people, and with them I've done things I'd only dreamed of before. I've surprised myself at how much I'm actually capable of and it feels pretty good. I'm really going to miss Aberdeen this summer, and people. I'll pop back for a cheeky wee visit no doot.
In the mean time its off to Spain and then back to Lewis where even more adventure awaits :)
Claire.
