Lots of photo opps today and lots of photos taken. It was a beautiful, sunny but chilly day. We walked about 7 miles, along the beach, around a pond, through the woods, around an old airfield, and finally back through the town of Oak Bluffs.

I have spent a lot of time going through all these photos and in the end, this yellow Iris was the best shot. I am finding that flowers really are the most cooperative subjects. The ocean waves, birds, family of geese, boats, and water over the jetty just didn't cooperate nearly as well and the resulting images were too soft. Actually, I am pretty sure it's the photographer's skills that are still the issue. Well anyway.... "practice makes perfect." Today I got lots of needed practice.
