Mary Rose Young

It's been a while since I last blipped, must catch up...

The great thing with news photography is you never know what the day's jobs will be, and the people you'll meet. I enjoyed all of today's jobs, especially shooting a feature on potter Mary Rose Young, whose workshop and gallery are in an unsuspecting cottage on the edge of the Forest of Dean. She works in a blaze of colour, personally and in her pottery, with an engaging personality to match. And her husband used to be Iggy Pop's bassist, amazing.
