Brilliant talk and performance at the Tyneside Cinema tonight featuring Mark Vernon's collaboration on a retro themed sound and 3d visual art piece Sound 5.1.as well ad a talk through the short film Mark also did a live performance creating sounds from eventing from a radio playing static in a tupperware box on a turntable (really!) to space dust poping and hitting bus of wood with a hammer -all sounding fantastic.to to it all there were retro cocktails in the shape of Snowballs (haven't had one of those for about twenty five years!)
