BMX boys (and girls) have a lot of fun

Sal's gym coach took three girls down to the Peckham BMX track tonight for a coaching session. Undaunted by the scale of the jumps, the steepness of the slopes or the sheer amount of testosterone in the air, Sal totally held her own and even nailed a gate start.

Today's Blip title comes from a 1983 single by Danny and the Mongoose Team which went with a TV show of the time about BMX bikers. (Which I thought was dead cool at the time, but really should have been left dead and buried.) No one else I've ever met remembers the TV show or the ridiculously catchy ear-worm song.
