There's something in the air!

So sang Thunderclap Newman way back in the sixties.
And today it looks very much like a roof truss. A couple of days ago, we spotted scaffolding going up around a house across the road then workmen started to demolish the roof structure. This morning a mobile crane arrived and the fun really started. It looks like the pitch of the roof is being altered to provide greater headroom and allow extra room space in the original loft area.
I said to MaggieD, " We could do that and I could use it for model railways, save me going out to the garage and we could get the car in there again!" the reply was along the lines of "Not a hope!" Well, I thought it was a great idea but there you go.
