regular and overdue

8:30pm and just finished cutting the 10m x 8m patch of grass in our back garden.

I started before 7:00pm.

The grass was very long.

What with all the stuff of life that is important and varied, the grass had been left for four weeks and done it's very best to resemble a wild meadow.

No more.

SiL's birthday today too. Extended family gathering at ours with food and laughs 'round the table. I spent most of the time with the wee-estWeir in various stages of nuclear meltdown owing to him mainly wanting to be in bed and having had enough of all these people.

He's a funny boy. And we love him dearly.
