After the Rain

It rained all day on Sunday. Not very nice. It messed up my cycle ride. Most of my bike rides are quite high up, and given the thunder and lightning, as well as the rain, I lost the will to go out.

Well done to the Edinburgh Marathon runners who ran through it all. A month's rain in just a few hours.

The rain also limited photographic opportunities. So I was pleased it did stop in the end. The clematis in my back yard, garden is much too posh a word for a north facing open space 490ft above sea level, has eventually come in to flower, and it looked quite nice large with rain water on the petals and stamen.

I also should remember to push publish. I thought I had published the photograph on Sunday. But perhaps the lure of Fargo meant I just plumb forgot.
