The Falconer and George ...

It was the beginning of The Georgian Fair at Beamish Museum today. This Falconer brought along his amazing bird George. They both put on a pretty spectacular show, George flying at speeds up to 100 miles per hour! There was also a fire eater, Punch and Judy show and a Flea Circus. My niece and nephew had a great day, ending up in the queue at the sweet shop in The Town to purchase "Gob Stoppers" of all things!

That has ended a thoroughly enjoyable "stay cation" spending time with my family. Now it's time for P and I to escape. A very early start in the morning but we should arrive at our destination in time for lunch. If WIFI and time allows, I will continue to blip ...
