Rain, Rain, Rain

Of course it has to pour it down everyday during half term. Anything else would be too easy!!
We've had a couple of days of doing very little and today was no exception!
But Mrs C came over with the Misters L, R and C so at least we had lovely company to hang around the house with.
And Mr L and Miss E were quite intrepid and went out in the rain to get soaking wet digging and making potions.
All the children made lots of potions inside the house too - mostly involving squashing fruit into containers full of water. Nice! Hopefully I've found them all or there'll be some nasty surprises to come!
Mrs C and I drank tea and chatted. Mostly about houses and holidays. Two of my favourite subjects!
Miss L came to gymnastics this evening as Mr K wasn't back in time. She was giddy to go to "Old McDonald" because she normally gets a bit upset that she's left out.
Miss E was giddy because she got her next badge.
I was less than giddy to sit and watch them eat Happy Meals and hot chocolate while I had a nice slimming cup of tea.....
