A first Poppy

I've been waiting, and waiting for the first Poppy. There are loads of buds, but they've been very slow because of the wet weather, but the little sunshine we had this afternoon brought this one out. It's huge, with its large floppy petals, and dark centre, and really very beautiful. Here's to lots more.
