James and a situation requiring grim determination

Not much to say.
School is closed to students tomorrow whilst the site is made safe for them (so much snow, paths aren't cleared etc etc). A couple of people are going in - I probably will go in after the morning rush hour to get some work done that will be easier in school.
Moment of relief this evening when next door neighbour (she with the errant son who kept us awake the other weekend) announced that she and her husband aren't going away this weekend ...excellent. She has had a devil of it the last two days - her youngest son is severely physically disabled, but is exceptionally independant - he works at the same place that my neighbour works, gets himself there and back everyday in his electric wheelchair and hates being restricted - so the weather here is genuinely a nightmare for him. However, my neighbour and the people who she works with at the local surgery ensured that between them the got him to work this morning - digging a path for him to run his wheelchair on where possible, and brute force to carry him and the chair where it wasn't.
Puts us to shame in some respects.
Back to help Corin dig my car out - taken an hour to clear it and defrost it so it isn't as big a job in the morning.
Stay warm and safe
