Downpour

The famously changeable Edinburgh weather lived up to its reputation today; we'd headed into town for a look around and a bit of shopping, but spent longer than expected in the Doc Martens shop while outside the most torrential rain I've ever seen turned Princes Street into a river in a matter of minutes. I think the photo gives some sense of the rain, but I've discovered another shopper (who must have been right next to me) has put a video of it on youtube. At least we hadn't gone to the zoo, which was evacuated after the flash flooding caused the wall of the warty pig enclosure to collapse.
