That train again leaving Augustow for Warsaw via Bialystok.
The lady in the ticket office gave us the bad news that she's
leaving the job. It's a great pity because she has been providing
a wonderful even personal service for regular passengers for a
long time. She sometimes even let us know that the train was
delayed so there was no point in being in too much of a hurry.
We hope she is successful in finding a job that deserves her and
possibly also the station cat if he decides to leave with her.
Augustow Railway station will be a bleaker than ever without
them.

The front tyre was repaired at last today. The culprit was a 2 cm
stainless steel screw which is now in my possession.
