Astronomical clock

This amazing working astronomical clock is in the Old Town Square in Prague. It was a great place to look for John because each hour just before the hour, everyone around gathered to watch the surprise when the windows opened.

I had quite a chuckle when I overhead a woman ask her travel companion about the apostles in the clock tower. She wondered if they were real or if they were statues. If only I could talk I would have told her that of course they are real, but they are finding it harder and harder to do their jobs now that they are 2000 years old!
