Ain't no mountain high enough

Tonight we went to watch 'Beyond the Edge' which is a 3D film showing the 1953 expedition of Mount Everest.

Tomorrow will 61 years since that amazing day and magnificent human achievement of Sir Edmund Hilary. & Tenzing Norgay.

I love the mountains for their vastness, sheer beauty and isolation and in particular the Himalayas for their representation of spirituality.

The film reminded me of my first trek to that region in 2000 for Whizz Kidz and our flight over Everest.

It was one of the achievements of my life trekking in this magnificent region with some brilliant people and getting to see this majestic mountain.
