Brothers in Arms

L's Gran lived near us in Ilkley for her last few years, she eventually wore out aged 101.

She would tell us tales of a Zeppelin crashing in flames near their home, of hiding her marriage from her employer - knowing she'd be sacked on the spot, of women starting to vote, of new found freedoms after the 1st World War.

The last of her things in the garage included some framed photographs from years gone by, and I've eventually got round to sorting them.

These are her brothers circa 1st World War, I think after but before they were demobbed. One of them moved to Australia and now I've got a digital image I'll email this to his daughter in Brisbane tonight and to a couple of other so we can put the correct names to them all.
