Birthday Balloons

It's Mr. W's birthday today!

And what a whacky day it is. Even though it's only three days until June arrives, it's hard to believe. The temperature outside is only 54 degrees, and it's dark and dreary and dank. Last night, we had a very violent thunderstorm which wreaked all sorts of havoc, with trees crashing down and power going out, and sadly one poor man in the neighbouring town was killed when power lines fell onto his car, setting it alight. He was electrocuted as he exited the car, trying to escape the flames. The roads are a mess, with debris everywhere, and power crews working on the lines. All the local schools are closed today -- no doubt to the delight of a lot of kids!
