View from the Head

This morning we took the children out again for a ride on their scooters. We drove over to Hengistbury Head where there is a nice flat pathway for them to scoot along, but at the same time some beautiful scenery for us adults.

After some serious scooting we decided to walk up onto the top of the Head, and this is where I took this photo looking across to Christchurch Quay and The Priory. I love this shot because the boats in the foreground look so tiny, almost like toy boats.

It was great to get out and enjoy the fresh air again, and we managed to miss the rain.
