snowday :)

had the most difficult time trying to narrow my photos down to just ONE to blip. seriously, its impossible. with a little help from my friend i narrowed it down to this one, ..


here are todays events :)

get a text at 6.45am - SCHOOLS CLOSED.
my friends then persisted to text me not allowing me to get back to sleep, so decided to get up at 7.30 (so much for the lie in :@)

why is everything so spookily quiet in the mornings when it's snowed?

watched tele for a bit before a special cooked breakfast, however this ruddy new years resolution limits what you can have :(

went down to the stables to check out the horses and all :)

then drove to slindon with charley and the parentals, in tow with a couple of sledges, snow chains and the landrover. :) which is where i took this shot

charley came back to mine after and we made Ernid the snowman :) and snow angels.

we also had a disaster down the farm, as the roof of the barn which the straw is stoored under had collapsed under the weight of the snow, so we had panicked horse owners worrying about the stables haha.

decided to put smartie and merlin out into the field incase anything happened which is when i got an amazing in action shot of smartie rearing, about a metre in front of us!!

it's still snowing now and we all have our fingers crossed for another snow day tomorrow <3
