the long view

a hot, humid (96% at 8am), lethargic kind of day. One too many cocktails the night before added to my sloth-like leanings.
The view from our back deck has been vastly improved by the labours of our new neighbours. They've been taming the mass of trees and shrubs in their yard and in doing so have opened a window to the water view beyond.
Looking ahead, today we had a visit from the shipping assessor for the removals company. It's all starting to happen.

I'm going to miss this view, and more....
