Soggy Rhoddy
When we moved into our house three years ago, in the garden was a Rhododendron almost completely hidden behind the garden shed. I presumed that the Rhoddy was planted first and the previous owners didn't think to move it before the shed was put in place. This spring, I suggested to Eleanor, my wife, that we should move it. After a bit of research we did move it. We wondered if it would flower this year, but in fact it seems to have flowered very well.
It has been a very wet day, and with several visits to undertake, we came home late. I decided that I should blip this 'Soggy Rhoddy'. It is a beautiful, rich purple and makes a nice contrast to the pink Dwarf rhoddy you will have seen.
Update: I had the bump/lesion successful removed this afternoon. They will now do a biopsy on it to determine what it was and I should hear sometime soon. Thank you for all your best wishes. You will be pleased to know I don't have any Hospital appointments for a month!
