The Water Soldier has multiplied!

Last year, I blipped our one and only Water Soldier (Stratiotes aloides - here). It duly descended to the bottom of the pond in the autumn, and now has arisen, resurrected, in a plural state! I think there are four of them! They doesn't seem to mind the rain (see the ripples?), nor the newts that frolic around them. Next, I await their flowers.
