Above and beyond

This is the wonderful Alan, outside his shop, in the rain, replacing my defunct nearside front headlight. The engine having been running, he soon discovered the rather unfortunate location of the coolant fluid expansion pipe which was extremely hot. The space was incredibly tight and fiddly. Burning the back of his hand didn't help matters but he persisted, smiling throughout, until Job Done!

Then he didn't charge me as I wanted to return an unused motorbike (son's not mine) headlamp despite my trying to insist that he just put it back into stock as I'd had it for ages. He did tease me about the timing: that he would definitely have refused to change the bulb had he known ... I did buy neoprene gloves and wash-wipe!

Blip deserves "nul points" as an image; however, the lovely hero deserves loads of "points"
