So close

After doing the night shift we finally heard about 10am that the roads around Wycombe were ok so they booted me out and off I went. Managed to get to Wycombe and even to the end of our road (pictured) but as I went to stop to park on a kerb the car kept going. It kept sliding all the way down the hill and then at the bottom there was nowhere to ditch my car that was safe and would mean I could escape to work in the evening. Running low on gazole I turned and fled back to work where they let me sleep in the training room and now I'm gearing up for next shift. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, if nothing else I just need a shower!!! I'll admit there are worse places to be stuck than a supermarket, all the food, drink and entertainment anyone could ever need.
