Wasted journey
I took the precaution of getting up at 06.00 to check online that the trains to Newcastle were still running, which they were, albeit on a cut-down timetable.
Unfortunately.
So I made the 240-mile round trip.
I took a close-up of the virgin snow outside the office that I quite liked in an abstract sort of way - it was quite deep and crunchy and of a very granular quality, not pretty crystals like Carwij's at all. But on the whole I thought that you all might be getting a bit tired of looking at SNOW, however beautiful - I certainly am!
When I got home I took a leaf out of CabbageTree's journal and went to bed for a snooze.
