The river weed

Walking the riv to the market this evening and came across this, I guess, voluptuous plant shedding blossom petals all over the road. It seemed to be trying so hard, and yet seemed to be kind of under appreciated, like a weed. But its size just didn't allow me to think of it as like a dandelion or a thistle. I mean, this thing was huge. Imposing. But just, like, exhibiting its yearly wares. I thought it deserved a bit more than that, and so I snapped it, and offer it to you all. Enjoy.
