Icing Sugar

SO much snow fell yesterday evening and we woke to a thick covering as fine and soft as icing sugar. Nick was unable to go to work, so I was able to rest my back in the morning and stay in bed. In the afternoon the girls and I waded out into the field by the cottage and had fun making tracks. Brammle joined us for a while but could hardly move as he tried to keep his head above the level of the snow as he attempted to bound along. School has been cancelled again tomorrow- much to the children's delight - so still the holidays continue. I think there should be a drop in centre for parents who need a little peace and quiet....If you hear of one do let me know ;)
