the blue bird of happiness has landed

OK, this is not a blip of a blue bird. But when I get my back porch cleaned up and full of summer blooms, I am very happy.
And this blue Lobelia is one of the plants on my freshly scrubbed porch that makes me smile.
The other thing that thrills my soul is growing my own fresh herbs. So out front I have pots of basil, rosemary, and thyme.
It's hard not to break into song, eh?
