Practicing macro

Dropped back in the camera club standings recently cos i haven't entered the last 2 comps, naughty me. So if i want to have any chance of retaining the title i must enter the last 3 and hope i do well.

The next comp is macro, now seeing as i haven't got a true macro lens i may be relying on my Canon G9, yes i know i did say the C word. Either that or my 70-200 with a 2x converter on it, not ideal but thats what i got. Just need to have a good think on what to photograph.

Anyway, here is a close up of a kiwi fruit. It reminds me of the seed in the Eden Project which i will be visiting again in July this year, looking forward to that.
