Hot Hot Hot!

This is an up-close on a Blood Lily Plant, Scadoxus multiflorus. It's native to Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. It only blooms for a week or two in mid to late summer. But that bloom is Spectacular! It's a huge spherical orange-red 'explosion' of nearly 200 tiny flowers! I'll try to blip a nice one later in the week.
