Japanese maple

When we lived in Glasgow we were lucky to get our back garden landscaped. Unfortunately we moved over a year later and didn't get a chance to enjoy the lovely garden we had.

The gentleman that did our garden was great. He liked curves and unusual plants which was perfect for us. Two of my favourite plants have always been a Pieris shrub and a Japanese Maple Acer. I think both plants have such amazing colours and brighten up the garden. He planted a Japanese Maple for us, much bigger than the one I have here. I sometimes wonder how big it is now and how amazing it must look. That and the rest of the garden!

I really need to plant this one into the ground as I don't think its going to get any bigger in its pot!!
