A weel-kent face!

One of the great things about living in a village is the characters you share the village with! They are like an extended family.......and in Scotland, we have a saying that when you have returned from a trip away...it is always "Braw to see a weel-kent face"......

Well in Yorkshire we see a lot of weel-kent faces but none more so than this fellow ex-pat Scot..........a linchpin of village life in East Keswick! Without him life would just not work around here!

Whilst a gregarious and friendly soul by nature......he did me the honour of a proper "see you Jimmy" stare for this shot....just to remind me of home!
