Took my niece and nephew to the Centre for Life in Newcastle today and what a brilliant day we had. I can't believe that's my first visit since the opening in 2000!

Currently the Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS Vital , The Exhibition of Real Human Bodies, is the main exhibition and is fascinating. It's the first time it has visited the UK and is at the Centre for Life until 2nd November. Well worth a visit.

The highlight for the children was definitely the 4D motion ride through the Amazon rainforest, we got soaked! We just dried off when they decided they wanted to do it again. Great fun, so much so we upgraded to an annual pass on the way out ...
