Another visit to the Tapestry

Back to the Tapestry, taking close-ups so I can see the stitching. It was very ,very busy, it was a case of there is a gap between the crowds, quick snap and move on.

This one is PANEL 126 Fair Isle

The Fair Isle is midway between Shetland & Orkney, the population now is 70 and most live in crofts on the southern part of the island. It is famous for the shipping forecast and for a traditional style of knitting.
