I know he looks the picture of health here, even with a mischievous glint in his eye, but he had an appointment with the vet this morning.

Nothing to do with his recent war wound, which, as you can see, has healed well, but P asked me to get him checked out because he seemed to be losing weight. According to the vet he's fine, but he has an allergy which causes hair loss and that's why he looks rather skinny. He has in fact put on weight!

My heart sank when I heard I've to give him half a Piriton tablet twice a day, but the first one was a breeze: I wrapped it in a tiny bit of sliced turkey and he gobbled it up nae bother.

So far so good...
